The Convergence of Human & Animal Training and Technology

Friday June 25- Saturday June 26, 2021

Here are some reasons for coming from registrants, what's yours?

Are you kidding???! After this year's conference, YES!!!

Went in 2018. Best conference I have ever attended.

Because 2018 was so wonderful

I'm ridiculously excited about this event because I've felt much too overwhelmed at previous conferences. However, the convergence conference had wonderful speakers with a variety of topics that were covered comprehensively in a way that did not overwhelm me. Great opportunity for education in a very applicable and user friendly way.

Last year was so amazing, the people I got to meet are people that I have looked up to ever since, I learned so much not only about people and animal training but how to help create a truly amazing event. I'm very excited to see what this year brings!

So many brilliant people in one place!

Convergence 2018 was the most inspiring event I've been to in a long time! I can't wait to hear and see all the ways people are changing the world with the intersection of human training, animal training, and technology.

Last year was amazing and the speaker line-up for this year is fantastic.

It's going to be even better than last year!

I always learn a lot from these speakers. I enjoy the positivity and motivation that they bring to every event. Also, I have attended only one previous workshop that involved both human and non-human behavior fields ( a TAGteach one) and it was absolutely incredible.

Because last year was amazing and I expect nothing less of this year's event!

I'm excited to see a melting pot of human and animal trainers who are actively looking for multidisciplinary approaches to improving the lives of those we serve! I can't wait to participate in the potential brainstorming that is bound to occur during this conference!

Because of all the learning and all the people!!!! I had such a blast last year and cannot wait for this year 🙂

This was such a great experience last year. Can't wait to come back!

Vicci Tucci and Joe Layng have recommended this conference.

I have heard very positive feedback from others that have attended in the past. I think this is a wonderful idea to merge the two fields for a weekend of learning. I am just thrilled to be a part of it.

I've been really interested in how animal training can apply to working with people, whether they be clients or colleagues. This is especially the case when I'm at my day job and frustrated with interactions I observe or participate in and think to myself, "if only we could apply some animal training concepts to this problem, it would fix it!"

Some of my coworkers attended this event last year. They had nothing but positive things to say about their experience and the knowledge they gained.

Last year's event was engaging. Looking forward to another great experience.

I went to last year's event and learned so much. I want to learn and enjoy this upcoming event.

I am excited because this will be my first conference that I am attending, and I am thrilled to be learning about a side of ABA that I do not have any prior experience with!

Your cute daughter (who wrote this???!!!)

I attended last year, and it was amazing. I believe animal trainers and human trainers/teachers have so much to learn from each other. I know I learned a lot!

BCBA excited about the field applied to animal behavior.

I'm excited to engage the strong community in Seattle of human and animal trainers!

I am excited about learning more about animal training and meeting new people within the field of behavior analysis.

The combination of human and animal behavior. I've always loved the crossover in my own professional life and looking forward to diving deeper with recent research and experiences.

One, I am excited to support Ryan in his quest to disseminate behavior analysis to a larger audience. I am in awe of this production. Two, this particular event has enormous draw for me as I'd like to learn from my animal training brethren. Three, I get to see Joe Layng

We are all animals and all learn the same way. I am always looking for new technology to increase the experience for both the people and animals I work with.

Attended last year! Animal behavior is my passion and hobby!! I love it and love to spend the weekend learning more from great minds and talking with others. It helps me grow and improve my skills in the workplace and education and rescue work I do for the local shelter and other rescues.

I love the fact that this conference focuses on the convergence of human and animal learning.

I'm a former zookeeper and graduate of the Exotic Animal Training and Management program at Moorpark College, and a current veterinary student interested in specializing in behavior and pursuing a PhD in animal behavior. I'm very much looking forward to attending this conference to see what sort of research is being done in the field of behavior and am hoping to meet people with similar interests!

So many reasons! 2018 was fantastic! Personal highlights were Martha, Ken, Theresa, and Susan. Everyone really. Can't wait to see what presentations will be in store for 2019.
